Jessica + Matthew, Flood Mansion, San Francisco

I just shot this amazing wedding yesterday at the Flood Mansion in San Francisco. Some of you more diligent visitors to this blog may recognize Jessica + Matthew from an earlier posting abuot my Los Angeles engagement shoots. Well, now it's offical, they are married! Jessica did an awesome job putting together a wedding that a professional wedding designer would be proud of. In fact, Jessica did have some top notch professional help from Shannon Berry for the coordination, Got Light for the beautiful lighting and Branching Out Cakes for that cake, of course.

Jessica + Matthew surrounded themselves by their loved ones and treated them to a wonderful night in a beautiful environment. Congratulations, Jess + Matt, and best wishes for a wonderful life together!

Every so often when I have a Saturday off I'll ride along with one of my great photographer friends to help them shoot their weddings. I love having this opportunity! It allows me to see how other photographers work, and I usually get the luxury of just shooting what I think is beautiful without the pressure of being the main photographer.

On this wedding, I was very lucky to tag along with Heather Powell (be sure to click on her name to see her site) for a rainy day wedding at the Legion of Honor. This couple took the rain in stride and had a beautiful wedding despite Mother Nature's plans.
