Why do engagement photos?

Engagement photos offer us (my couples and myself) a chance to become acquainted and build rapport. Also, for couples who are a little camera shy, an engagement photo session helps break down some barriers. When you are at ease with me and the camera, the pictures of your wedding will be so much more natural and real.

Jennifer and Chris are getting married this summer and they wanted to get some photos taken before the big day, so we went to the Ferry Building and Chinatown. I love the locations Jennifer chose, they reflect their personality and what they love about the city. Also, the Ferry Building has AMAZING light! I think it's now one of my favorite spots to shoot in.

The photos turend out really great, and I'm so happy Jennifer and Chris decided to do the sesion. I'm really looking forward to their upcoming wedding.
