San Francisco Conservatory of Music

Here are a couple pictures I recently shot for a story about the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The story was more or less about the tough road that lies ahead for these students of classical music. Fewer and fewer people go to the sypmhony every year, so symphonies are shrinking and disappearing altogether. The school is located in San Francisco's Sunset district but will be moving to a new facility near the symphony and operahouse in 2006.

I discovered a program they offer called the Music to Go. It seems like a good way to hire a student string ensemble, violinst, harpist... at a low price. Even if you are not looking for musicians, you may want to check out their site. The school offers many free concerts throughout the year.
