Looking for a wedding planer?

In general, I think hiring a wedding planner is a great idea. Often times, venues or caterers provide you with a coordinator to help run the show during your wedding (which is a great help), but having an outside coordinator has great benefits. If you hire someone early on, they will:
* help you select your venodrs
* insure you are getting a good price
* check your contracts to make sure everything correct
* work with all your vendors before and during your wedding to make sure everyhting runs smoothly
* take the burden off of you, your maid of honor and best man, so you can all enjoy your wedding that much more

Ideally, a good wedding planner will pay for herself/himself by saving you from costly mistakes and bad deals with vendors.
